Action for Change and Empowerment (ACE) successfully executed a first aid box distribution initiative for the Ogun State Traffic Compliance Enforcement Agency (TRACE) during their 8th Commanders Conference & Retreat, aimed at bolstering emergency response capabilities of traffic management agencies.
The event was marked by the attendance of notable dignitaries, including TRACE’s Executive Chairman, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, and the Commissioner for Transport. ACE’s representative, Ms. Chiamaka, detailed the rationale behind the donation, which was warmly received and appreciated by the Ogun State officials.
The key outcomes included the successful handover of ten first aid boxes to TRACE and an acknowledgment of ACE’s support. Looking forward, recommendations for ACE include maintaining and potentially expanding this project to further areas, addressing specific needs such as emergency vehicle rehabilitation, and exploring collaborative training program opportunities that emphasize traffic safety.
